Vespa Club of Britain are committed to protecting your privacy when you become a member.

This Privacy Notice explains how we use information about you and how we protect your privacy.

We will not collect data from you that we do not need.

There are a number of reasons why we need to collect and use your personal information.

  • it is necessary to perform Vespa Club of Britain duties

When we collect personal data from you we will use it to provide you with a Vespa Club of Britain service which you have requested.

  • renew your membership
  • send you a copy of Vespa News
  • maintain and update your membership records or contact details
  • contact you where necessary
  • obtain your opinion and feedback about the Vespa Club of Britain

Under the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) we have a legal duty to protect any information that we hold about you. We take measures to safeguard your data and implement security standards and controls to prevent any unauthorised access to it. Information which you have provided the Vespa Club of Britain will be stored securely. It will only be used for the purpose(s) stated when the information was collected.

How long will we keep your personal data

The amount of time data is kept before being disposed of will be dependent on how long you stay a member of the Vespa Club of Britain. If membership is not renewed, data will be destroyed.

Marketing

Your information will not be shared with other companies for the purpose of marketing. We will only send you information about the Vespa Club of Britain and services affiliated with the VCB such as discount schemes. You can opt out of this at any time by letting us know.
